About
Connecting distress to real help
AASRO is an animal-welfare initiative that helps reports of animals in distress reach the people and organisations who may be able to help.
Practical coordination
People who find an animal in distress often don't know who to call. AASRO focuses on getting clear, useful information to the people best placed to respond.
Transparency
We are honest about what we can and cannot do. A report is a request for help, not a guarantee, and we will always say so.
Collaboration
Rescue is a team effort. NGOs, vets, rescuers and authorities each play a role; AASRO aims to connect them, not replace them.
Every animal
Cattle on highways, birds caught in kite strings, working donkeys and goats deserve help too. AASRO is built for all of them, with wildlife routed to authorised responders.
